Midnight Garden

And come in ever restless presence,

The light dashes by the window,

catching peaceful breaths upon it’s gaze,

Tossed and turned the covers fall,

Morning pulls you to this visually busy day,

Spikes and lulls of calm,

Long working,

Ever preoccupied,

I took the days gift,

In the garden at night,

I look upwards,

Gratitude as I lurk beneath the tree’s shadows,

Free steps slip along the sodden grass,

Beneath the moonlight and speckled sky,

Nature blessed me with her Kingdom.
